"What it is- A little slice of pure living. The atmosphere from the landscape, to the horses, to the amazing staff of people, to the warmth of the guests, just can't be beat. We stayed across the meadow and began our day with two mother horses and their foals at our door step. The wranglers fit you with the appropriate horses throughout the week in a very
flowing, move up as you are ready fashion. The entire staff is the most friendly caring and nice people I have ever had together in one location. Many different levels of skill rides available. And, they accept your skill level wherever you are and make genuine repeated efforts to help you grow as a rider. What it isn't- a five star go to be seen place, or a place for singles. It is a little bare bones on the luxury aspect, and frankly, that is why my wife and I loved it so much. Be prepared to unplug from the modern world. Meaning no TV and no computer and no cell phone service. A little disconcerting at first, but joyful once you accepted it.
We felt a level of trust and caring so high and so fast that we never worried about our kids off playing and exploring the ranch...ever! And, we aren't the type not to keep a close eye on our kids. The activities of dancing, bonfires, skits, awards are just pure and wonderful. This was our first time here, but we plan to make this somewhere we go for generations, just as it is for many of the other guests who come here. A big thank you to everyone at the ranch."
