FALL CATTLE ROUNDUP

Fall to the Lot of a Cowhand. Help us roundup our herd from summer range to ship to their winter pastures. Step back in time and enjoy 5 days and 6 nights of horses, cowboys, and the Old West. The round up is not intended for the beginning rider with limited trail riding experience or poor physical condition. To be prepared for this ride you should have at least forty hours of riding experience. This ride is generally fast paced and riders should be able to post. Lodging will be in our cabins at the ranch. We will supply the horses, tack, food, water, and cabins. Only a limited number of riders will be allowed, so book early.

9:00 AM This week is dedicated to rounding up cattle from their summer pastures. Each day will begin around 9:00 AM. We'll be riding cross country searching for cows. No nose-to-tail trail rides. Not sure when we'll be back for lunch. Some days we may even tie a lunch on our saddles. There are no other scheduled activities. When the work's done, if we feel like enjoying a bon fire we'll light one. If we want to play cards, we'll break out the cards. It's an easy going, old-time country kind of week.
