Spend a week at Sprucedale Guest Ranch immersed in the art of horsemanship, surrounded by the beauty of the White Mountains. Each day offers hands-on riding lessons, trail rides, and horse care guided by experienced wranglers. You'll build confidence, deepen your connection with your horse, and gain valuable skills in the saddle. Whether you're a beginner or experienced rider, this is a unique chance to grow as a horseman in a relaxed, authentic ranch setting.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is liquor and/or soda served or sold at the ranch?

No. You are more than welcome to bring your own.

Is ice provided?

No. We run on a generator and therefore do not have an ice machine. Gusts bring an ice chest full of ice and beverages.

Do I have to go on every horseback ride?

No. You can ride as much as you would like.

How many guests should I expect?

There are 13 cabins so between 15-30.

What will the weather be like in October?

Beautiful! 80 degrees during the day and 30 degrees at night. Might get some rain.

POLICIES

Specialty Week Policies

A 50% deposit is due when making a reservation. We'll refund your deposit, minus a $100 cancelation fee, up to 90 days before your scheduled Specialty Week. After 90 days we will refund 1/2 of your deposit up to 60 days before your reservation. After 60 days it is a loss of deposit.

If you would like to move your reservation to the next year you would need to let us know 60 days before your scheduled Specialty Week and there is a $100 fee. After 60 days 1/2 of your deposit can be moved to another year. After 30 days it is a loss of deposit.
