Fall Roping Week
A roping week at Sprucedale Guest Ranch offers an immersive western experience, where guests can learn and practice their roping skills in a picturesque, hands-on ranch setting. Each day features guided roping lessons, from basic techniques to more advanced maneuvers, with plenty of opportunities to work with cattle. In addition to roping, guests can enjoy horseback riding, scenic trail rides, and a variety of ranch activities. The week culminates in a fun, friendly competition, making it a memorable experience for all levels of roping enthusiasts.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is liquor and/or soda served or sold at the ranch?
No. You are more than welcome to bring your own.
Is ice provided?
No. We run on a generator and therefore do not have an ice machine. Gusts bring an ice chest full of ice and beverages.
Do I have to go on every horseback ride?
No. You can ride as much as you would like.
How many guests should I expect?
There are 13 cabins so between 15-30.
What will the weather be like in October?
Beautiful! 80 degrees during the day and 30 degrees at night. Might get some rain.

POLICIES
Specialty Week Policies
A 50% deposit is due when making a reservation. We'll refund your deposit, minus a $100 cancelation fee, up to 90 days before your scheduled Specialty Week. After 90 days we will refund 1/2 of your deposit up to 60 days before your reservation. After 60 days it is a loss of deposit.
If you would like to move your reservation to the next year you would need to let us know 60 days before your scheduled Specialty Week and there is a $100 fee. After 60 days 1/2 of your deposit can be moved to another year. After 30 days it is a loss of deposit.
